Language Arts- This we are reviewing for the Reading and Language Arts Benchmarks. The Reading Benchmark is Wednesday and the Language Arts Benchmark is Thursday. The study guides we are using in class were sent out this morning through email.
Math-We will learn about similar and congruent figures this week. Once that standard is mastered, we will begin reviewing for the math benchmark.

Please remind your child to turn in his permission slip and $6.50 for our field trip, March 16.
Social Studies- This week we will learn about South Africa's apartheid system along with the independence movements of South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria. Students will receive a study guide for the Social Studies Benchmark on Thursday. Students can begin working on the answers for this study guide at home ---all answers can be found in student notes. Each student should please bring one package of index cards to school by Thursday.
